Indeed motherhood is a tough job! Being a stay at home mom at the same time a work at home mom do have it’s benefits. You can go out anytime and go malling or to an event at anytime fo the day given you have someone to watch over your kid or for me while he is in school. Though you cannot truly say it is just a very easy job. As for me, I feel like I just moved my office here at home.
Though now, I no longer have corporate people and bosses to deal with each day and I am not locked up at the office for eight hours each day Monday to Friday anymore where I can just sneak out during lunch break or unless I have errands out of the office to go to clients.
Being a WAHM now, I had to adjust at first. Could you imagine being in your office working while you have a toddler or a young kid with you in your office? That is what it seems to me at times especially when I have deadlines to beat at certain days like this week. Not to forget the chores that are there each day waiting for you to attend to them. Nannyless or help-less as I am since I have no hired help for more than three years now, cutting tools, it can be a tough job to juggle and deal with each day.
With my son about to finish his first year in regular preschool next month, I am slowly beginning to appreciate all the challenges and trials that I went through. I can say I have somehow adjusted. But there will still be days and moments when I’ll feel like I am in a pressure cooker and feel like I need some sweet treat to keep my sanity in this tough job.
