Yushan County was once the key industrial county in Jiangxi Province. Taking one cement company in the county as an example, it was once a company which consume large amount of energy. But in the last year, it started a comprehensive project which can generate power through the utilization of waste heat. This project changes the exhaust into the new resource for the company. Due to this project,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the company not only has the 98% dust recycling rate, but also has the annual power generation of 3,000 million kilowatt. Besides, there is about forty thousand tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually which then bring about 30 million Yuan for the company. The green industry accounts for 57% of the industrial economic share of the county.
More and more companies propose energy-saving projects. And many of them win thousands of million of state financial prizes. From January to August at this year, this county achieved an industrial added value of 1.63 billion Yuan and about 465 million Yuan of the total financial revenue which has an increase of 21.5% and 40.26% respectively.
A major feature of the new advantages of the Yushan County is making a large-scale upgrading of traditional industries to promote them to develop in a sustainable way. In addition to the upgrading of traditional industries, the Yushan County also encourages entrepreneurship and attracts investments from large corporations and groups,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which then will promote some traditional industries like the bearing industry and cement industry to form a relatively complete industrial chain and achieve the fission effects of the industry cluster. Today, the county has become the only building materials industrial base in Jiangxi Province. Besides, it is also one important bearing production base in East China. Its bearing production accounts for 95% of that in the whole province, and the bearing product specifications occupy about a half of the world categories.
