Last month you were capable of entering for an opportunity to win a free Swatch Automatic Chrono timepiece from. The fortunate winner has received the Swatch timepiece and has got quite a lot of enjoyment from the wonderful creation and has sent me a few shots of the timepiece as a follow up. Congrats to Andrew D. winning the new Swatch watch and I am quite happy that he enjoyed it. The watch is really making a bit sensation with a really expensive automatic chronograph Swiss movement and fun styling. Don't forget to enter for this month's aBlogtoRead.com Giveaway for an opportunity to get a free US made Orbita watch winder.
Here are some comments about this rolex?timepiece come from the winner:
"As soon as I found some free time I opened the box in a quick speed to experience my first ever Swatch. The first thing that astonished me was the packaging. It's a really original Swatch! In keeping with their well-known Jelly watch models it appears as if they have Jelly Boxes too. Upon seeing the new Chrono watch my first thought was "boy it's big" I have a small wrist and until now my largest timepiece was a 42mm Fossil. I was hesitant to wear the chrono but nothing ventured anything gained. This timepiece is quite light. Deceptively light for the size, actually, it's made in plastics. For the first few days I'd forget the watch was on my wrist. I could've been taking my vintage La Salle watch for all I knew. It's literally a joy to wear this large accessory without the weight and that may be why I find it so comfortable. The other plus knows I've got an original Swiss chronograph on my wrist. I like the small splashes of blue on the inner bezel at the hour markers to fit the second hand and I'm proud that I now have a Swatch. I was surprised how surely I need to press on the pushers. I found the Lume is very bright however fades surprisingly quickly BUT maintains a dull glow for a fair bit. I appreciate the almost mirror like quality of the dial yet I found that when the hands where around the 9 o'clock they got lost amongst the the subdials since they're skeletonized/ladder type. I was also surprised to see Swatch AG 2008 on the dial when the timepiece is the Winter/Fall 2009 collection. I'm curious what that 2008 model refers too. Also I'd add an extra keeper for the strap, a model that doesn't move. Generally, I like this watch model very much, passionately and loyally. And I may wear this wonderful accessory for a while before another beckons to be worn. Please let me show my gratitude once again to you and Swatch and I look forward to witnessing much more wonderful presentations of your blog."
