Haynesworth,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], whose half-brother was killed in a motorcycle crash Thursday night in Nashville, Tenn., designs to be together with his relatives over the next few days.
Haynesworth’s agent released a statement Saturday saying the player and his relatives were grateful for all the support they’ve received.
The car’s driver, Benjamin Smith, 27, of Nashville, told police they didn’t see the motorcycle until impact.
Rookie left tackle Trent Williams is also set to play after being sidelined for three games with toe and knee injuries, according to Shanahan.
A memorial motorcycle ride will be held Sunday in Nashville to honor McCoy.
