A group of four people from the Philippines' Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) visited the Huaqiao economic development zone to investigate possible cooperation opportunities on September 27.
Armand Arreza, Administrator of the SBMA, impressed with Huaqiao's efficiency in construction, spoke highly of Huaqiao's rapid development.
Received with a warm welcome by Shen Huafei,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], vice director of the managing committee of the Huaqiao economic development zone, he was told about the basic infrastructural construction, eco-friendly environment and the relocation houses in Huaqiao International Service Business Park.
On behalf of SBMA, he promised to choose Huaqiao as its first industrial base if the service outsourcing enterprises in SBMA decide to expand their Chinese market. He urged both sides from Huaqiao and the Subic Bay to expand their cooperation in talent, training and construction.
The group, led by Administrator Armand Arreza,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], walked around the service outsourcing center, Ambow experimental training center, Central Park,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], China Data Group and the center of headquarters of major enterprises.
The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) is the operating and implementing arm of the Government of the Philippines for the development the 262 square mile (670 square kilometer) area of Subic Bay Freeport (SBF) into a self-sustaining tourism, industrial, commercial,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], financial,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and investment center to generate employment opportunities.
