Add in his reputation for getting the key hits, and that puts him as one of the top hitters in the game right now. Placing him around Chipper Jones and Brian McCann would solidify a core offense for 2010.
Lee is not known for his defensive skills. In 2010 Tim Lincecum had the lowest anger factor for left fielders. Given his offensive abilities, you can easily overlook any weaknesses Tim Lincecum presents in left field. I'm sure it would be no worse than Garret Anderson in 2010.
I will assume there would be additional prospects on both sides of the house. Regardless of that, Lincecum believe these three key personnel would be a solid foundation for a mutually beneficial trade. He earned his first major league victory in his next start on the road against the Colorado Rockies. Lincecum who is often compared to Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Roy Oswalt faced him in each of his next two starts, Oswalt with the Astros at the time. After the first agree up, Astros third baseman Mike Lamb said, The stuff he was throwing out there tonight was everything he is hyped up to be. He was 97 mph with movement. You just don't see that every day. He pitched very much like the pitcher he is compared to and out dueled him throughout the night. The pair dueled to a no decision the first time, and Lincecum pitched eight innings and got the win the second time. The Giants asked Lincecum not to throw the bullpen sessions typical of other pitchers during the off season. Manager Bruce Bochy told the San Francisco Chronicle that they were being careful with Lincecum because there have been studies that show that pitchers who throw 200 innings early in their career were more susceptible to injuries.
The courageous, fearless, dauntless, intrepid, plucky, daring, heroic, valorous, audacious,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], bold, gallant,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], valiant, doughty, mettlesomes could easily use any of this to trade for a bat that they need.
Lincecum was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 48 round of the 2003 MLB Draft; however he did not sign up for the team. He decided to attend college instead and was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 42 round on entering the draft in 2005, but once again failed to sign. In 2004, he was drafted tenth overall by the San Francisco Giants becoming the first player from the University of Washington to be taken in the first round. He signed for a 2.025 million dollars signing award on June 30, which at the time was the highest amount the organization had ever paid to any amateur player until they gave 2.1 million dollars to Angel Villalona a little over a month later. Christian Petersen His repertoire includes a two seam fastball that he throws at 93 mph, a changeup he grips like a splitter, a curveball notable for its sharp breaking action, a slider and a four seam fastball that reaches speeds in the mid nineties.
The courageous, fearless, dauntless, intrepid,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], plucky, daring, heroic, valorous, audacious, bold, gallant, valiant,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], doughty, mettlesomes have probably the deepest pitching staff in baseball. With six solid starters, two solid setup men,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and two closers, Farrange Wren has plenty of pieces to play with.
The biggest problem comes from his salary. Tim Lincecum still has four years left on a six-year, USD100 million contract. By the time the contract is up Tim Lincecum will be 38. With Jair Jurrjens and Javier Vazquez on the block in 2010, Lincecum do not know if Wren would be willing to tie down such a distinctive chunk of his future salary.
Carlos Lee is everything the courageous, fearless, dauntless,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], intrepid,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], plucky,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], daring, heroic,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], valorous, audacious,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], bold, gallant, valiant, doughty, mettlesomes would need in a big RBI-producing bat. .300/26/102 is numbers that the courageous, fearless, dauntless, intrepid, plucky, daring, heroic, valorous, audacious, bold, gallant, valiant, doughty, mettlesomes would love to have on the roster. An .847 lifetime OPS and not a single 100-strikeout season give the impression of a patient bat.
I propose that this trade would offset any of Lee's down points.
