I am making a short film with my friends, which involves someone throwing a bobbie pin at a window and making it shatter (don't ask...). We have an extremely small budget (currently we have about $30 in spending money) but we are willing to raise up to as much as possible (but not more than a million...). Is there anyway to acheive this effect without actually breaking someone's window? Can we get a green screen, stick a bobbi pin in there, and then put in the effect of a smashed window? Should we get a cheap window at Home Depot, stick a green screen behind it to make it look like a house, and smash it? Which is the easiest, cheapest solution?However, there is a significant effects plug-in market which offers add ons for many editors, including freeware Blender VSE.
