"I have tried several times do edit MTS files in Final cut pro 6, but it does not recognise the files. After that I tried do converte the files to AVI or MPEG-4 and still the finla cut stop, just watching the clip... Is it possible that the OX 10.4 does not suport this type of files to work on final cut pro 6??"

"I just bought a JVC Everio HD300 (AVCHD) camcorder today that shoots at full HD (1920x1080). So far the camera seems pretty sweet! But when I plugged it into my PC (I am a PC guy, not a Mac guy!) I noticed a file format I have never had to deal with, .mts. So I guess my question is, how do I convert this file without any quality loss to be able to edit within After Effects/Premiere Pro CS4? Is there converting software I need to get to convert first then bring into AE or Premiere?"
