Fujitsu Quality Laboratory Limited recently announced the establishment of Chinese subsidiary Fujitsu Quality Laboratory (Suzhou) Ltd., which will offer local quality and environmental assurance services, including RoHS compliance services, on electrical and electronic components procured from China by Japanese assembled product manufacturers. The new lab locates in Suzhou Science & Technology Town, a booming origin of new & hi-tech companies that is embraced by green hills and blue waters.
The services offered by Fujitsu Quality Laboratory (Suzhou) will make the quality monitoring of Chinese-made electrical and electronic components more efficient and help boost product quality. In the future,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the company also plans to offer quality-improvement consulting services to Chinese electronic product manufacturers, assisting them in raising the quality and reliability of their goods.
Facing the global financial crisis and taking advantage of the new opportunity, SSTT has increased its investment in cultivating self-owned IPRs and engages in developing new & hi-tech industries. For example, SSTT has successfully finished over 200,000 M2 new places including SSTT Software Park Phase I, IT Practical Training Center Phase II,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Software Mansion and etc.. Another 100,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],000 M2 of new sites is under construction and will be ready open before the end of this year. By then, SSTT outsourcing park will host over 30,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],000 employees with estimated annual turnover of US$ 5 billion. A service outsourcing base of east China is emerging and booming up quickly.
As the president of Fujitsu Quality Laboratory (Suzhou) Limited, Mr. Kamehara says, after a series of survey, Fujitsu finally chose SSTT because of its huge potential and favorite environment. Meanwhile, SSTT’s orientation of becoming the service outsourcing center of East China also attracts Fujitsu.
