FFXIV News:Update: Producer Hiromichi Tanaka responded to the fatigue system
Producer Hiromichi Tanaka just stepped out and responded to the discussions of fatigue system on many forums and game sites. Hiromichi Tanaka said it's due to the mistranslation of Famitsu's interview by some Japanese sites that exaggerated the bad side of fatigue system. Hiromichi Tanaka confirmed the existence of fatigue system that designed "to reward players who don't have a lot of time to play." Stay tuned for more detaills from the official.
When Final Fantasy XIV starts the open beta in early September, how much time will you spend on this game? Must be lots of hours I guess. But Suqare Enix doesn't want you to do so, they will introduce fatigue system into the MMORPG,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], trying to limi Final Fantasy XIV power leveling t the time players spend on the game. Why will they do that,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], who knows...
According to Sankakucomplex who posted this info, the fatigue system will punish players who play the game more than one hour (OMG, only one hour) by reducing their EXP. This info com Final Fantasy XIV gold es from the interview with Square Enix.
Tell us about the 'fatigue' and 'dormancy' systems please.
We wanted to introduce a system to reward players who don't have a lot of time to play. Maybe it looks as though we are placing long playing users at a disadvant FinalFantasy XIV account age, but the idea is really to let play for short periods be viable.
Won't that cause some concern amongst players who play for longer?
We want these players to try different classes. If you change class the fatigue doesn't affect you, so you could try non-comba Final Fantasy XIV Gil t classes as well. You actually have more play choices now as you can make more characters.
About the 'dormancy' system:
Recovery takes time. 2 hours of combat or 1 hour of craft will induce 'dormancy.' The dormancy is actually shared over different char FFXIV power leveling acters. It will decrease gains to 0% in the end.
OK, if all of these are real, then this is a really serious problem for lots of FFXIV players. Even a casual gamer will play MMO more than one hour a day, let alone hardcore gamers who will spend one or two h FFXIV account ours in a high level instance. What's more,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], FFXIV is a pay-to-play MMO, and an hour a day's gameplay time, or battle time will surely stop many players from buying the game. So what do think about this?
