Miller also gained a reputation of a shootout specialist with his technique of challenging the shooter outside the crease. That season Miller was 6 more in shootouts, with Martin Brodeur from the Devils being his closest rival at 2 less win. Whether the Red Sox have done enough to catch the Yankees in the AL East or win the World Series is yet to be seen.
