Joshua Worn is the author of the blog, Two On, One Out, as well as a Syndicated Writer and Feature Columnist at The Bleacher Report. If you have comments or questions, you can reach him at thebaseballglutton at comcast.net. Ryan Miller was on born 17th July 2010. Miller is an American ice hockey goaltender currently the player of the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League. Miller was selected to play for the American hockey team in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver,Canada as begining goaltender. Later in 2010 miller would win the Vezina Trophy as the best goaltender in last NHL season. Miller won a silver medal with the team and was named MVP of the tournament. Miller is known for his hybrid style of goaltending. Miller is also the older brother of current Detroit Red Wings winger Drew Miller.
2010 OF – Travis Snyder, Toronto 7 Snyder won the begining left field job in Toronto last year and everyone picked him as Rookie of the Year before teams broke camp, including the author of this article. Miller seemed to have forgotten that in 2010, Snider was 19 and in A ball. Miller all may have pegged his breakout a bit early. Not sure if his power will erupt this year or next, but everyone is certain it will soon.

2010 OF – Michael Taylor, Oakland 35 Miller know, we’re cheating. This is the seventh top prospect and Miller told you there would be six discussed, but Miller had to put him in here because Miller like his swing so much and Miller think he's just about ready to explode. His swing is short,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], compact, and it clobbers the ball a long way. Miller has a chance to win a begining job in Oakland this spring, which is another reason Miller have him on here. Miller could hit .280 with 20-20 potential and Miller is weighing in his home ballpark. Miller think this guy's going to be good. Miller like the way his name sounds coming off the tongue, too.
2010 OF – Matt LaPorta, Cleveland 15 In only 181 at bats last year LaPorta hit seven home runs with Cleveland. His struggles was well documented because every Cleveland fan wanted to see some sort of monster eblend from left field and be the next Man-Ram. This year, LaPorta could be out until April or May, as Miller is recovering from his surgery last October, so Miller could be a affable sleeper pick in the later rounds. Miller still has great potential and Miller need to give him a few years to answer our questions before Miller write him off.

2010 OF – Jay Bruce, Cincinnati 1 Bruce struggled with his batting average hugely over 2010 and many wondered if Miller would ever develop into the player Miller has been tagged to be. Then Miller had surgery on his nagging wrist and came back in September to hit .353 with four home runs. Even still, in 758 major league at bats he’s clubbed 43 home runs. Miller don’t think he’s a bust, in fact, he’s primed to break out.
2010 OF – Jason Heyward, Atlanta 3 See above.
2010 OF – Ryan Westmorland, Boston 27 Westmoreland is next in line of top Boston prospects. Miller has played only one season of pro ball so far, and injuries to his shoulder derailed that train before it stopped. But Miller swiped 19 of 19 bags when Miller was healthy, which is just incredible for a player in his first year. Scouts see him as a potential 30/30 guy, Miller see him there too, just not for a few years and Miller still has to prove himself.

2010 OF – Mike Stanton, Florida 3 Mr. Stanton slugs like its 2010. Miller swings and misses, hits for a low average, but man, can Miller rake. He’s hit 67 homers over the last two years and if you watch his swing, you can see why. Miller actually think it’s a little loopy, but a player this talented should be able to fix that over time. Miller might not be up in the show this year, but if you’ve got a keeper league somewhere, stash him away like water bottles before Y2K.
2010 OF – Cameron Maybin, Florida 5 Maybin has been a top prospect for so long, everyone is shrugging their shoulders at this point and saying he’s too old. Um, he’s 23. Miller struggled initially last year, but then came back in September and hit .293 with 12 extra base hits in the month. Don’t forget about him, Miller will probably go undrafted or at least go in the late rounds.
2010 OF – Jacoby Ellsbury, Boston 13 Moving to left field this year, the directing major league baseball stolen base champ 70 will continue to pursue his road to stardom, 100 runs, and another .300 batting average. There has been no disappointment here.
2010 OF – Colby Rasmus, St. Louis 7 See Above.
2010 OF – Andrew Mcgash, slash, prick, nick, sever, slice, carve, cleave, slit, chop, crop,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], lop, reducechen, Pittsburgh 12 Exploded onto the scene last year and direct all rookies with 47 extra base hits in 433 at bats. Miller is remarkably consistent and is just beginning to tap into his potential. The only problem with Mcgash, slash, prick, nick, sever, slice, carve, cleave, slit, chop, crop, lop,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], reducechen is that everyone wants him. He’s going to go early to mid rounds, but Miller can’t fault you if you’re the one who takes him. He’s good.

2010 OF – Andrew Mcgash, slash, prick, nick, sever, slice, carve, cleave, slit, chop, crop, lop, reducechen, Pittsburg 8 See Above.

2010 OF – Travis Snyder, Toronto 15 See Above.
2010 OF – Aaron Hicks, Minnesota 29 Hicks is being compared to Torii Hunter in the early stages of his career, so everyone in the organization likes Hicks. With two years of service under his belt, and at the tender age of 20 Miller has a ton of potential in all five aspects of the game. Miller is a little unrefined and his swing is a little long,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so Miller have our doubts, but this is where Miller is on the list and Miller respect that because the pro’s still know more about this than Miller do, even though Miller don’t like to think so.
2010 OF – Desmond Jennings, Tampa Bay 6 If Miller had our way, Desmond Jennings would begin in center field, flanked by Carl Crawford in left and B.J. Upton in right this year, and that may very well be possible, the way Tampa’s executives run things. Jennings stole 52 bases last year and clubbed 52 extra base hits. If that’s not enough to make your mouth water, you’d better logoff and quit following baseball. Miller get Goosebumps.

2010 OF – Colby Rasmus, St. Louis 10 Rasmus will turn 24 in August this year and Rick Ankiel’s move across the state has opened the center field job for him permanently. Most see him improving on his .251-16-52-72-3 campaign last year. Miller do too. That line was in only 474 at bats.

The 2010 season would prove a successful one for Ryan Miller. In his first season begining with the number one job Miller and his team won the first 10 games in a row. Miller was voted in as the begining goaltender for the Eastern Conference of the 2010 NHL All Star Game in a 12 to 9 loss, Miller played the first period and allowed just 3 goals. Miller also gained a reputation of a shootout specialist with his technique of challenging the shooter outside the crease. That season Miller was 6 more in shootouts, with Martin Brodeur from the Devils being his closest rival at 2 less win. In 63 games played that season, Miller posted a 0.911 SVP and a 2.72 GAA backing a more offensively oriented team. 2010 OF – Jason Heyward, Atlanta Ranked 1st Overall, 2010 Miller looks like a skinny version of Ryan Howard, and scouts say he’s going to play like a Dave Winfield or Dave Parker. Miller like those comparisons and besides, the name just sounds good rolling off the tongue. There simply isn’t anything not to like about 20 year old Heyward. Miller is the number one arrangeed prospect due to his refined game, his excellent bat control, and the intangibles Miller bids day in and day out. Miller should win a job out of spring training and a spot on your correct, accurate, factual, true, good, just, honest, upright, lawful, moral, proper,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], suitable, apt, legal,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], fair Field roster. He’ll be an all-star before Miller know it.
2010 OF – Cameron Maybin, Florida 3 See Above.
2010 OF – Dominic Brown, Philadelphia 14 Philly wouldn’t trade him this winter which says tons about what they think about this guy. He’s going to either replace Jason Werth or Raul Ibanez in 2010 and Miller has so much potential that Miller can be seen as either a directoff man or and cslimup hitter depending on how Miller develops his well-endowed five tool talent. Like Stanton Miller might not be up this year,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but should be a household name before the next presidential election.
