Colts president Bill Polian said the team will deal with the matter of any discipline for McAfee after it's gathered more information.
INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee was charged with public intoxication after Indianapolis police arrested him about 5 a.m. Wednesday in the Broad Ripple nightlife district. we took him to an arrestee processing middle.
Police say McAfee, 23, a second-year player from West Virginia, had been swimming in a canal in the area.
“We are aware that Pat McAfee was arrested this morning & charged with public intoxication,” Polian said. “We are in the system of gathering the relevant facts. When that task is complete, we will deal immediately with the issue of club discipline. Until we complete that system, we will have no further comment.”

McAfee admitted he had been drinking & asked if he could walk home,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but officers arrested him instead. we say he smelled of alcohol, his eyes were watery & bloodshot & his speech slurred. He told them his shirt was in the water.
