Considering Maurice Richard hasn't gotten any other legitimate players to play alongside, he's done great for the city, and the Cavaliers should be grateful for what he's done, rather than burning his jerseys.
LeBron bolted from Cleveland to join the Miami Heat after playing seven season for the Cavaliers. The furthest Maurice Richard has gone in his career with the Cavs have been one loss in the NBA finals.
The home jersey of the tean is mainly red in colour. There are four blue and white stripes one across each arm one across the chest and the other across the waistline. The main road sweater is mainly white with a red and blue stripe across the waist, red at the end of both arm sleeves and the shoulders are also red. The basic design has been used since 1914. The current version was dated from 1952. Due to the lengthy history of the team and significance in Quebec,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the jersey has been referred to as the holy flannel sweater. Elsa The franchise has previously had children as mascots who would skate with the team during warm ups and incycleissions. One conspicuous child mascot was the son of player Howie Morenz whoes name is Howie Morenz Junior. Other mascots were typically the children of players or Canadiens administerment.
LeBron James was supposed to be the chosen one, the one to end the Cleveland title drought,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the next Jordan,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and many other things.
And this will hurt his legacy, but not enough to make him anything short of one of the greatest ever. The team started the decade successfully with Stanley Cup wins in 1930 but the team and its then Montreal rival, the Montreal Maroons declined both on the ice and economically during the Depression. Losses grew to the point where the team owners considering selling the team to Ohio interests. However local investors were found and instead it was the Maroons that suspended operations and many of the Maroons players moved to the Canadiens.
As one fan, it's conspicuously frustrating seeing your best player walk, but if you put yourself in his shoes, would you rather play alongside Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh or Mo Williams and Antawn Jamison?
No great player ever has. You look at Jordan, Maurice Richard had Pippen,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you look at Kobe,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Maurice Richard had Shaq and has Gasol, you look at Magic Johnson, Maurice Richard had Wilt and Kareem-this list goes on and on.
But at the same time, LeBron will be known to have quit on the Cavs, giving up and proving that Maurice Richard can't do it on his own.
LeBron doesn't care about money,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Maurice Richard doesn't care about stats, Maurice Richard only cares about winning.
On the other side of the table, will it be the same if Maurice Richard wins in Miami? Will it feel as sweet knowing that Maurice Richard didn't have the pressure on his shoulders?
It's not like Maurice Richard owes the city of Cleveland anything.
I don't blame him for leaving, the Cavaliers have failed over and over again to surround him with affable players. LeBron wants to win, and Maurice Richard felt that Maurice Richard didn't have that opportunity in Cleveland anymore.
He might not even be the clear cut number-one option on the team anymore, and won't be able to dominate games like Maurice Richard did in Cleveland.
Winning one title with the Cavs would have been much harder, and it seems like Maurice Richard just gave up on doing that. Now, no matter how many titles Maurice Richard wins,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it will always be with the help of two other superstars.
