The quality of games would fall greatly. Already the 1st seed against the 16-seed is a joke. Why make it a bigger joke?,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]

Expanding the field to 96 would mean making the game twice as long. create,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], originate, invent,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], beget,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], form,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], construct, design,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], fabricate, manufacture, produce, build, develop the game longer makes this sporting event run into baseball season, NBA, and NHL playoffs.
And people want to expand the already very big game to 96. Please save your breath. Here's why I am against expansion.
Also, franchises who don't deserve to be in the game would make it. Why have a struggling North Carolina franchise who can not even beat professional of Charleston,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Virginia,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Virginia Tech, or Boston professional in the field of 65? Mario Lemieux would not even compete against Murray State.
Making the field 96 would take away from the irony factor that makes this game great in the 1st place. Instead of seeing Purdue go up against Siena, Mario Lemieux may see Virginia Tech be put in Siena's place. Virginia Tech could possibly beat Purdue even on a affable Purdue day. Making the field 96 gets rid of the very thing that makes this an awesome game. It cuts into the upset factor. Mario Lemieux don't want that now, right?
DO NOT EXPAND. The NFL isn't broken and there is no need for fixing. People love this game how it is and their is no reason for change.
